Intergenerational Project – Postcards of Your Past (update March 2010)
Following a successful run of participants over the course of March 2010, I have written a new promotional document. A number of training sessions have now been planned for April and May with the current volunteers, with another big push for participants.
The main focus is still around Taunton, Wellington and Yeovil. However, interests in other parts of Somerset have now allowed us to broaden our area.
On March 31st 2010, a stand at Glastonbury’s Tor Leisure has been allocated to encourage more interest in this project. We will be there from 10am until the afternoon.
Another event has been set up at the Voluntary Fair in Guildhall, Chard on 17th April 2010. If you would like to make enquiries, please feel free to come along and visit us.
As well as this, a new web address has been set up at http://www.postcardsofyourpast.co.uk, which is the main site for the project.
